Roy Thompson was born in Tacoma, WA to Arthur and Sarah Thompson on November 8, 1940 and passed away in Tacoma, WA on October 18, 2024.

After he graduated from Stadium High School, he served on active duty in the Navy. Following his honorable discharge, he met the love of his life, Carole. They were married for 53 years.

Roy had a deep faith and his relationship with the Lord was very important to him. He will be remembered for his kindness and his love for family and friends.

He is survived by his brother, Paul (Kristine). We wish to thank Weatherly Inn for making his stay there, "the best years of his life".

A memorial service will be held at Weatherly Inn, 6016 North Highlands Pkwy, Tacoma, WA 98406 on November 8th at 2 p.m. to celebrate his life.
